
My Story
Dubbed “The next Mrs. Fields” (by her friends), Erica Marks has been baking and entertaining since a young age in her Beachwood, Ohio kitchen. After seeking a career change from media and marketing in 2009, she attended Institute of Culinary Education for degrees in Culinary Arts & Culinary Management. Add in a three and a half month pandemic quarantine (but who’s counting!?) feeding five adults and two picky children daily, which led to a boredom-induced Instagram account documenting what was happening in Erica’s Quarantine Kitchen.
Experimenting with various cookie recipes led to many giveaways to friends and many requests for sales. Thus, Freshly Baked by Erica was born.
Freshly Baked by Erica offers a baked-to-order opportunity to experience the greatest hits of years of practice, research, and honing. Cookies spiked by nutty and rich brown butter, the finest chocolate, bright organic eggs, flavorful vanilla beans. Brownies with just the right amount of richness, chewiness, and of course chocolate. Not to mention frozen cookie dough for the truly “baked at home” experience - nothing better than a kitchen filled with the scents of a fresh baked cookie (with DIY sea salt topper!)
